About A Chair (AAC) 12 ECO is a chair designed by Hee Welling for Hay.
A sustainable version of Hay's iconic AAC, AAC 12 ECO uses recycled plastic (PP) to make the seat shell which, consistent with the rest of the series, is open, delicately curved and symmetrical. The clean and elegant silhouette is guaranteed by the absence of armrests, while the perfectly shaped backrest guarantees a high level of comfort. The plastic shell contrasts with the wooden structure, which has elegant legs with a rounded section and undoubtedly transmits warmth and character. AAC 12 ECO has the ecological quality mark certified by the EU-Ecolabel, in fact 30% of the PP material used is recycled. This percentage derives from the reuse of waste material from About A production lines, without losing the aesthetics and style of the collection. Furthermore, all AA ECO products can be disassembled and recycled in an appropriate manner.
Materials:Body in injection-molded mass-colored polypropylene, made of recycled and virgin PP. Base with 4 legs in solid FSC oak wood.With standard gliders. EU-Ecolabel & FSC certified.
