Acquarelli Framed Light Fixture in Shades of Blue Resin
The watercolors, by Jacopo Foggini, represent abstract thoughts against the light born from the fusion of multiple liquid colors tending to blue, lights and transparencies. Single element: 60x120 cm.
"The inspiration can come from the experience of scuba diving, from nature in general, of which the green and amber shades attract me, but also a cup in Limoges porcelain reminds me of many things ... However, everything starts from the water, that is from my bathtub, both in Milan and in my country house in Val Trebbia, a place dedicated to planning, eating and alcoholic conversations in company. In the tub, square, with edges useful for placing books, plastic fish, even ducks, like the 25 that friends gave me, I spend an hour there every day, I think, write and draw. Sometimes the post-its get wet, melt and the note vanishes. Maybe it wasn't meant to be, ”he reveals. Then he moves into the laboratory and translates the ideas into reality. Always in the name of a delicate and poetic mix of colors.
