Aquàrio II Madia
Aquàrium II is a sideboard designed by the Campana brothers for the Barcelona Design brand, with external panels and hinged doors available in natural ash or grey varnished pine, respectively with green or blue glass and internal shelves. The success of the first version of Aquàrio encouraged the designers to design a second version, developed however with more balanced and distinct functions. In fact, it is half showcase and half cabinet, with a design inspired by an aquarium by Brazilian designers, who like to integrate craft processes and industrial production to create hybrids using different materials. Wood and glass in this case, one warm and one cold: the immateriality of one combined with the physical presence of the other.
