Beat is a collection of lamps by the prestigious Tom Dixon brand. Beat is a celebration of the beauty of hand-made things. Hand lifted, welded, beaten and finally skimmed on the lathe, the Beat lampshade retains the hammer marks from their formation. The collection is made of hand-crafted brass.The Beat series of lamps, recognized in homes, restaurants and hotels around the world, is an exercise in expressive minimalism. The original design was born from the sculptural simplicity of the brass casseroles and traditional water containers of the subcontinent. The pendant lamps are made from pure brass plates and are available in six different shapes: Wide, Fat, Tall, Stout, Flat and Waist. A wall lamp, a floor lamp and a table lamp are also part of the Beat collection.
