ChainDelier 2-1 Suspension Lamp
ChainDelier is a collection of lamps designed and produced by the famous designer Davide Groppi. ChainDelier is available in several models. Winner of the ADA Awards in 2019 and German Design Awards in 2020.
This collection arises from a play on words between the chain and the candlestick. It is a simple chandelier, but with great personality. Almost a jewel. A chandelier that allows you to solve the eternal problem of decentralization. A large golden chain flexes under its own weight, draws a perfect parabola and feeds the light mesh at the lower point. Gold is the metal par excellence, a metaphor for energy and desire. But it is also the ideal metal for conducting electric current. Resplendent with golden glows like the modern version of a chandelier from the Palace of Versailles, but at the same time linear and simple, ChainDelier can be composed as desired, projecting the light up or down, inserting more elements, more rings, in a vertigo of luminous combinations.
