Dala Stool / Coffee Table
Dala is a stool/coffee table designed by Stephen Burks and belongs to the collection Dala. Frame in aluminum with electrostatic powder-coated finishing. Fiber is ecological fiber, created from mix of recycled food and-drink packaging and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Tabletop is lacquered glass with satinated stripes.
Dala takes inspiration from the artisanship and improvised seating arrangements of the developing world. Surface and structure merge in this versatile collection by Stephen Burks, each piece starting as a powder-coated frame of aluminum mesh through which DEDON’s master weavers thread colorful strands of our revolutionary new ecological fiber. The Collection Dala was a great success for innovative and original design.
