Kettle 9091 is a kettle designed by Richard Sapper for Alessi, made of 18/10 stainless steel, with melodic whistle in brass and black handle in PA.
Kettle 9091 is the progenitor of Alessi’s design kettles. The designer Richard Sapper, in addition to concentrating on giving a sinuous and extremely pleasing shape to the kettle, has focused its attention on the whistle emitted. To avoid that annoying noise he made a melodic brass whistle, composed of two slots inside which we find a synthesizer capable of reproducing the notes Y and Y. When the steam escapes, the two synthesizers are activated reproducing a nice melody, replacing the canonical whistle that often interrupted a moment of relax.
