Kristal Storage Unit
Designed by Dante Bonuccelli for Molteni&C., Kristal is a cabinet produced in three different configurations, with sides and sliding doors in extraclear transparent glass, profiles and shelves in aluminium (bronze finish), drawer unit in eucalyptus.
Kristal derives from a new interpretation of a classic piece of furniture, the glass cabinet, made in light of contemporary technology. Its design is based on two main features, sliding – it revolutionizes the opening system, shifting the slide to the bottom, thus making the cabinet ultra light; lightness – the rythm marked by the vertical uprights gives compositional freedom to the shelves, redesigning the storage space, the lighting and the distribution of spaces. The drawers can be with leather bottom and equipped with wooden fittings.
