Lapso Vertical Hammock
Lapso is an innovative vertical hammock designed by Antoine Lesur and Marc Venot for Sancal brand. Lapso is the winner of the Hermès award for Best Author Design in 2014. Available in different finishes for both the fabric structure and the mesh.
The way to rest or carve out moments of relaxation has changed over time, adapting to frenetic rhythms, far from home, Lapso was created to respond to an increasingly widespread need, that is to find the place to take a short break surrounded by a soft "hug". Lapso, with its minimalist design, offers a natural posture thanks to the light and ergonomic angle of the backrest, while the outer hood’s sound-absorbing materials help to dampen a room’s general ambient noise. The vertical hammock proposed by Sancal invites you to disconnect and offers a high degree of privacy in noisy and crowded environments such as offices, shopping centers, or airports. The wide range of acoustic fabrics for the hood can be combined with the 5 net colors.
- Fixed fabric.
- Upholstered structure: perforated multi-frequency pressed laminate covered in CMHR 30kg foam and
H100g fibre.
- Metal structure: F1 steel lacquered in the same color as the selected mesh.
- Mesh: available in a choice of 5 colors (black, grey, red, yellow, or blue). Fire retardant; EN1021-1/2 and TB-117.
- Wall fixture: F1 steel.
