Original 1227 Giant by Anglepoise, is a floor lamp designed surrealist: a typical table lamp made giant turns into a floor lamp. Available in different finishes and models. Aluminium fork block, bride, arms, fork and shade, precision machined stainless steel components.This lamp is an exact replica of the first Anglepoise lamp produced in 1934: the original model 1227 is a true design icon. Giant 1227 celebrates the typical design of the '30s with a classic look that contrasts strikingly with the modernity of the size XXL. Its spring arms allow you to meet different lighting needs. Giant is dimmed and with four wheels, moves very easily and can be locked in the safe position. Originally commissioned by Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (in deference to the beloved Anglepoise® lamp that Dahl used in his writing hut), inspiration for the Original 1227™ Giant is part from the designer George Carwardine, part fantasy.Light Source: LED E27 - 13W - Dimmable.
