Pacific Chair is an office chair designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby in 2016 for Vitra. Height-adjustable or 3D armrests. Five-star swivel base in die-cast aluminium or polyamide. ProMotion mechanism, lockable in upright position. Synchronised mechanism with automatic weight adjustment and manual fine tuning of backrest resistance with five settings. Optionally available with or without spontaneous forward tilt (can be disabled). Available in 3 heights: low (conference height), medium and high. Upholstery in fabric or leather.

Answering to the principle of 'full performance, quiet design', Pacific chair has a modern yet explicitly simple and rounded lines. Vitra’s experience in producing office chairs for over 40 years is proved again in Pacific Chair: healthy seating is combined with modernity and user-friendly adjustments. The generous backrest extends and covers the mechanical components with the exception of the base.
