Rocking Chair
Rocking Chair is a rocking chair designed by Dan Svarth and produced by the Brand A. Petersen.This rocking chair is the result of experimentation with cabinet making, combined with an understanding of force polygons, how the joints distribute the force you exert on the chair and its joints when you sit down. The architect Dan Svarth, a qualified cabinetmaker, calculated precisely how to position the joints to distribute the weight on the chair in an optimal way. The chair looks like a classic deck chair, but in reality it is a rocking chair with which you can also remain seated. The armrests are a reference to Poul Kjærholm, Svarth's professor. The chair has three different types of fabric prints, printed by canvas printer Janne Wendt in Copenhagen, and created respectively by Iben Brøndum for blue, Anne Fabricius Møller for red, and Mads Nørgaard for white. This design chair with absolute elegance will be the protagonist of any environment, from the relaxation area to a living room, and thanks to its finishes, it will be easily compatible with any type of furniture.
