635 Red and Blue Armchair
The lacquered armchair 635 Red and Blue, designed by Gerrit T. Rietveld for Cassina, take its own character from the marked and determinated lines, a real contemporary artwork.
Although the design is dated 1918, the bold, coloured, original and brilliant armchair was created to show that also with the simple things it is possible to realize masterpieces. Thanks to the structure in beech stained black, the blue seat and the red backrest made of lacquered multilayer, this accessory is the real protagonist of the setting.
