AF/21 is the series of faucets and mixers designed by Naoto Fukasawa for the Boffi-Fantini Aboutwater collection. Extreme simplicity and beauty enclosed by a light but powerful sign, a mix of charm and poetry.The AF/21 series was born from the search for extreme simplicity of form, designed to be essential yet functional. Having reduced the line almost to a pure icon, the aesthetic quality of the material is enhanced. Faucets and mixers become discs and cylinders evoking images of different objects, such as the knobs of a stereo. The quest for simplicity and sublime beauty achieved through clean and natural signs reflects the design philosophy of Naoto Fukasawa, one of the most prominent designers on the international scene.
