Bhaca Planter – Tall
Bhaca Planter is an original sculptural piece that echoes its ceramic designer Andile Dyalvane's connection to his roots at the African Xhosa group. His mastery with clay meets the admiration of the Ingenus brand resulting in the collaboration and creation of these particular vases. In this version, Bhaca Planter is offered in size Tall, but is available in 3 other variants and different colour finishes.The strong belonging to his native roots leads the designer to totally inspire and celebrate them through these vases. In particular, his idea is to bring back the ancient tradition of finely cutting the leather to mark initiation or membership of a group, named 'bhaca', scarification. A belongingness also sought after in his works, thus Bhaca Fioriera was born, with cuts present on all sides that give it a dynamic form that makes each piece as if it were independent and therefore visible from every angle. This exceptional result is the result of a precise and careful collaboration that involved the use of small vases developed by Andile and their transformation into large planters of architectural dimensions through 3D scanning and CNC cutting. Besides its aesthetic beauty, Bhaca Planter is also extremely functional. It is designed to provide an optimal environment for plants, ensuring proper water drainage and ventilation for the roots. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, enriching spaces with a touch of originality. Thus, each piece is a work of art in itself, a quality luxury that lends personality and character to its surroundings.
