Blue Fish Chopping Board
The collection of cutting boards "Fresh Fish" stems from the artistic production of Livorno Stefano Pilate for KnIndustrie.
Based on the use of recycled material, mostly pieces of wood, fragments of nature or waste materials returned from the sea of the Tyrrhenian coast, the work recreates ironically some of the inhabitants of the fund marino.I pieces are made from natural American walnut on one side and one side with colored varnish impregnating food.
There are three types: "BLUE FISH" a deep-sea fish blue where a steel bowl held by a magnet serves as a great eye (when the piece is used as a hanging sculpture) or bowl for sauces (when the piece is used as a cutting board); the whale "MOBY DICK" bleached wood of walnut and "ZAMPY FISH" a fish from the large steel eye that reminds one of "fumigator" always in Canaletto walnut color gray and black.
