Body Chair
Body is a collection of chairs designed by Sylvain Willenz for the brand Sancal. The series includes several models. Available with a four-leg base or with castors. The backrest is made of ash wood. The Body chair can be customized with an infinite variety of finishes and combinations.The talented Belgian designer was inspired by the sinuous lines of the human body, the soft profile of the back, the breadth of the shoulders, and the solidity of the torso, the result is a seat suitable for spending a significant number of hours in absolute comfort. Body was created as Sancal's first non-upholstered chair, in fact, it is made entirely of ash wood, which is excellent for being worked and bent. Due to its extraordinary versatility, the original idea has given way to various declinations, so in addition to the wooden version, we also find a model with metal legs, one with castors, one with a fully upholstered shell, and it is also possible to make the Body chair with armrests.Options include a practical padding, easy to insert and remove, to create a soft upholstery for the wooden backrest version.
