Hug Chair by the Jover Valls brand is part of the Hug collection, created taking inspiration from the gentle lines of landscapes and the rocking motion of treetops shaken by the wind.Hug Chair is a piece of high craftsmanship, created with the same care as a sculpture, bringing together new technologies and the experience of traditional craftsmanship. The seating experience on a Hug Chair is like an enveloping embrace: the weight of the body is evenly distributed allowing you to enjoy a relaxing rocking movement from which you let yourself be lulled. The natural elasticity of the materials used allow you to enjoy the exclusive design of this chair for a long time. This is made possible by a reliable, cold-bent steel rod, treated by hand, and by the best Spanish hides, tanned in full respect of the environment. The welcoming feeling envelops the body, evenly distributing the weight.Dining chair with 16/12 mm cold-bent steel rod frame, subjected to galvanic and nickel plating treatments, hand polished and lacquered. The available finishes are in matt antique brass, smoked black and antique silver, coloured by electrolysis. The chrome plating provides the even metallic colour final finish at least 50 microns on the whole surface. Subjected to corrosion resistance test carried out in a saline chamber in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9227: 2017 e UNE-EN ISO 1456: 2010 standards. Spanish bovine hides with a 3,5 minimum thickness originated from the food industry, treated with vegetable-tanned leathers based on oils and fats from vegetable barks or fibres giving the leather great flexibility. The veins visible in the texture are typical of the folds of the hides from the croup of the animals. The available colours of the leather are: black, navy blue, dark brown, cognac and tobacco.
