Jardín sunbed is part of the collection dedicated to the designer and architect Clara Porset, by the team designers of the Paola Lenti brandJardín has colorful and light elements for the outdoor space and beyond, inspired by the work of the Cuban designer Clara Porset, a close collaborator of Luis Barragán and an active participant in the Mexican artistic ferment of the 1930s. Paola Lenti's new Jardín collection is a tribute to a series of furnishings that the Cuban designer designed in 1957 for the Hotel Marqués in Acapulco - at the time an example of avant-garde architecture - and later presented at the Milan Triennale, where it was awarded with a silver medal. The weaves of the time, in wicker, have been updated thanks to the exclusive Twiggy technical yarn, a resistant, waterproof, non-toxic and totally recyclable outdoor material, while the structure, at the time in curved wood, is now proposed in the most performing and long-lived glossy painted aluminum, in a palette of colors that can be matched to the upholstery fabrics.
