Designed by Mario Trimarchi for Alessi, La Stanza dello Scirocco is a collection of everyday object made in stainless steel 18/10 polished.
The Sicilian designer Mario Trimarchi was inspired by his childhood memories to create this collection. La Stanza dello Scirocco was a typical little corner of the great Sicilian houses of the past, where to find shelter and wait for the wind outside to calm down. It composed of several items such as vase cover, tealight holder, basket and fruit bowl made of all steel, and formats from different side cards that create an irregular shape. The spaces between the tiles create a play of light and shadow that makes dynamic and elgante this object.
