Lady by Leonardo Ranucci is a modern classic vase for the Venini brand. Oriental style and hand-blown blown glass with the Opalini technique for a sinuous and elegant vase.The technique of the Opalini starts from the processing of milk, an opaque white glass, invented in Murano around the middle of the fifteenth century in order to imitate the first very fashionable porcelain in Europe. It is obtained by overlapping "lattiamando" glass with a glass or more thin transparent and colored glass, obtaining beautiful objects with intense and bright colors. To embellish glass with soft colors, gold and silver leaves are included on the entire surface, obtaining splendid "Aurati" objects.
