LC 14 Tabouret Nantes Rezè is a stool in open pore lacquered oak, with the faces characterized by two colors of the Le Corbusier palette: ultramarine and brown. The handle is simplified with a rectangular not rounded recess which favors the movement of the object. The dovetail joint system on the corners, on the other hand, emphasizes Cassina’s ability to work with solid wood.This piece of furniture is accompanied by the famous model that was designed in 1952 for the famous Cabanon, the refuge on the Côte d’Azur by Lecò. The inspiration came from a case of whiskey found abandoned on the beach: the result is an essential seat, a stool made with refined techniques of craftsmanship of wood.
