Tip Ton RE Chair
Tip Ton RE is a chair made of recycled plastic designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for Vitra. The dark gray color is the natural shade of the processed recycled material. Backrest, seat, base are in polypropylene, 100% recyclable.
The designer duo wanted to develop a version of the famous chair proposed by Vitra, to respond to the continuous growth of requests for eco-sustainable products. The high-quality recycling material stems from recycled household waste. Utilising this raw material instead of petroleum-based primary plastics generates 54% less climate-damaging emissions. Tip Ton RE can be tilted forward a few degrees from the normal position, which allows you to straighten the pelvis and spine.
Tip Ton RE is suitable for outdoor use: special additives retard the fading of colours due to UV radiation. However, if the chair is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods, the colour may change over time. We recommend limited exposure to sunlight.
Tip Ton RE can be stacked up to 4 chairs.
