Suspended between past and future, Topkapj Terracotta is characterised by a powerful emotional impact. Its colors are balanced with elegance, never “gaudy”, but barely whispered. The shades are clear and opalescent in the brilliance of silk; with the depth conveyed by a matt finish on wool; naturally imperfect in undyed wools and intentionally imperfect in the handcrafted abrash effect.The artist’s collection for Golran, Memories, includes all the beautiful colors and suggestions from the natural world and comprises few carpets charged with a powerful emotional impact and anchored to tradition, starting from the production site - Nepal - where the most important “carpet making tool” is experience.
