Watermelon is a sideboard designed by Paola Navone for the brand De Rosso. Digital HPL laminate, 4 hinged doors, interior shelves and satin-finish metal base. Watermelon is a sideboard with a design as cheerful and summery as its texture, that of a watermelon. It is in fact the protagonist, which ‘dresses’ the sideboard by showing its outer skin and an inner section. The playful and ironic contrast between the geometric and angular shape of the sideboard and the texture of a fruit with the shape, and that of its seeds, of a rounded shape transforms the room into an informal, eccentric and cheerful environment. Limited Edition of 15 pieces.
